An initial operational review
will assess, identify and prioritise those business processes where RFID may offer performance benefits. Jamodu provides an independent and responsive service to the ever-increasing demands for quantitative analysis to justify decisions within organisational and legislative
procedures. To achieve this, Jamodu takes a system view and addresses the operational requirements over the whole life cycle of the solution.
Concept Design
Jamodu assists with the development of concept designs utilising radio frequency identification technology. We provide a complete service and can draw upon our extensive analytical expertise and process knowledge to create a tailored, value-added concept for most automatic identification problems.
This phase can be carried before the appointment of a systems integrator or in conjunction with your preferred integrator's engineering team.
Business Case Development
Jamodu uses a five stage model for business case development. Our work therefore incorporates the following:-
- Strategic: a description of the current and proposed arrangements
- Economic: an evaluation of the costs and risks of the alternative options
- Commercial: an examination of the nature of the procurement phase
- Financial: a discussion of the funding mechanism
- Management: a review of the preferred option
Technology Appraisals
Jamodu provides independent guidance on the use of selected new
and established radio frequency identification technologies. The purpose of the appraisal is to assess the operational benefits and the costs of those technologies in an operational context.
Vendor Selection
Jamodu works in partnership with clients to perform vendor appraisal to assess financial status, previous customer references, performance track record e.g. on time deliveries, price benchmarking, legislative compliance or other factors such as environmental and social responsibility.
